This article provides a quick overview of the RECS page and how to search for records and recommendations.

Basic Information

As a Grower, you can view all of the records and recommendations in your account from the RECS page. From here, you can create a new record or recommendation, search, edit, or copy an existing one.  Application Records in your account will be found under the Records tab and recommendations will be in the Recommendations tab.

Group Actions

Just above the second set of search filters is a row of buttons that are known as the group actions. The group action buttons allow you to perform batch operations for groups of records that have been selected using the check box next to the name.

You can View/Print, Archive, Unarchive, Complete, Uncomplete, or Trash groups of records.

Remember you can only Trash a record with the status of new. On the Recommendations tab there is an additional button called Invalidate. This will allow you to delete a recommendation  that you wrote and completed. If you received a recommendation from your field adviser through ApRecs you can not delete it.

Actions Button

The Actions button to the far left of your records displays a list of things you can do with your recommendation.

  • Edit: Allows you to edit the record if it is new or edit a record you have created if it is new. Once you have completed a record the edit option will go away. You will need to uncomplete the record if you need to edit it after completeing.

  • Copy: Allows you to copy the rates and products of the record to a new one for a different location

  • Complete: Allow you to complete your record. This will change to Uncomplete after you have completed your record.

  • Clone: Allows you to make an identical copy of the record including  location and products, but with today's date

  • Print: Allows you to print the record or recommendation

  • Send: Allows you to send the record or recommendation
